By connecting IP Serial I/O to a LAN, you wil be able to connect to its serial port any device with RS232, RS422, RS485 interfaces to monitor and interact with PLC, security plant, keypad, access control.
Through the Internet browser the configuration of IP Serial I/O is simple and fast, even remotely via Internet.
All the signals detected on the serial port are processed and converted into a data flow through the Internet protocol, then sent on an Ethernet cabling to be remote transmitted via Internet.
IP Serial I/O is equipped with 7 Input/Output digital lines that can be set and to which it is possible to connect the digital sensors to remotely detect the status change. Furthermore it will be also possible to enable some actuators using a remote PC connected to the Internet.
