The Epson Stylus Color 1160 is a high speed, low noise, A3+ colour printer delivering unrivalled colour print quality and laser sharp text. Windows and Mac compatibility comes as standard while a wide range of Epson special media is also available to allow you to get the most from your printer. Combining ultra-fast true black and colour print performance, with superb print quality from its enhanced 1440 dpi print technology and the Epson Perfect Picture Imaging System, the Stylus Color 1160 is the ideal printer for the small to medium enterprises for the corporate office or for work-groups of networked users. The Stylus Color 1160 uses an advanced version of Epson's Micro Piezo print head incorporating Variable Size Droplet Technology combined with 4 picolitre Ultra MicroDot ink droplets.The Stylus Color 1160 includes support for the Universal Serial Bus, supported by Microsoft Windows 98 and Apple iMac. An optional external network adaptor allows the Stylus Color 1160 to be shared by office work groups, while a new enhanced printer driver with Photo Enhance 4 can automatically optimise colour output and enhance the quality of web graphics, digital photographs, and other digitally produced images. With the optional external Print Server Box EpsonNet 10/100 Base Tx (order no. C823782), the Epson Stylus Color 1160 can be connected easily to an Ethernet network.
